Spicy Mapo Tofu Drunken Noodles
Ingredients:
1 Nature’s Soy Mapo Tofu Kit Hot (includes tofu and Mapo sauce)
200g (7 oz) wide rice noodles
1/2 onion, sliced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Fresh green onion for garnish
Optional: additional chili oil for extra heat
Instructions:
Cook the rice noodles according to the package instructions until just tender. Drain and set aside.
Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Sauté the sliced onion until it becomes translucent and slightly caramelized.
Incorporate the tofu and Mapo sauce from the kit into the pan. Stir well and cook until everything is hot and the sauce is bubbling.
Toss the cooked noodles into the pan, adding soy sauce and oyster sauce. Mix thoroughly, ensuring the noodles are well coated with the flavorful sauce.
Remove from the heat. Garnish with fresh green onion right before serving. For those who desire more heat, drizzle over some chili oil.
