Recipe -> Easy Home-Style Tofu

Nature Soy firm tofu, 1 pack, diced to about 1/2" cubes
Ground meat (pork, chicken, beef, or turkey): 1/4 - 1/2 LB
Vegetable oil, 2 tablespoons
Soy sauce, 2 tablespoons
Chicken broth (canned), 1/4 cup
Cornstarch, 2 tablespoon
Sugar, 1/2 teaspoon
Sesame oil, 1 teaspoon
Scallion and cilantro, chopped, for garnish
Mix ground meat, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, and 1 tablespoon cornstarch in a mixing bowl.
Set stove to medium high and heat 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in the pan. Stir-fry ground meat until it is well done. Drain excess oil, remove the cooked meat and set aside.
Clean the pan. Heat 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in pan. Stir-fry tofu for about 1 minute. Add the cooked ground meat and mix gently.
Add 1 tablespoon soy sauce, chicken broth, sugar and 1/4 cup water into the mix.
Cover and cook until it starts to boil. Set heat to low and let it simmer for 1 minute.
Mix 1 tablespoon cornstarch with 2 tablespoon water. Add it to the mix and stir together.
Turn off heat. Add sesame oil and mix gently. Remove food into serving bowl.
Garnish with scallion and cilantro and serve immediately.
Note: Add ground hot pepper or Asian style hot pepper paste during cooking for variations.
